From Seller: INCREDIBLY UNIQUE 100% REAL B-61 NUCLEAR TRAINER-This completely restored munition is in immaculate condition-it measures 11 ft 8 in long, with a diameter of about 13 inches-basic weight is about 700 pounds-streamlined casing capable of withstanding supersonic flight speeds-the B61, known before 1968 as the TX-61, was designed in 1963. It was designed and built by the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico-total production of all versions was 3,155, of which approximately 540 remain in active service, 415 in inactive service and 520 are awaiting dismantlement as of 2012-this is one of seven (7) that were decomissioned and sold at a government auction from Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma-this was used as a dumb bomb, with no proplusion or guidance system-it is controlled by a KEVLAR chute to produce a direct square impact with the ground-$12,500 was paid for this unit and it includes the munition, the custom display cradle it is sitting in, the original Missile Storage Stand, and an undeployed, new in box/wrapped in plastic KEVLAR deployment parachute-extremely rare and unique item-don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to own a real piece of American Military History!-can be delivered if necessary for a nominal fee-see Derek Rizor for more info on that
